I chose ASUS Maximus Gene VIII for the best MATX motherboard that time that supported SLI and man it looked amazing
Build planned was a clean white look that had red accent so I chose these sexy sleeved cables for this build
Cable combs... you cant go wrong with these
So, I've decided to use Hexgear's R40... I'm a big fan of this case... It's perfect for this build
Not really a fan of RGB... for me, these are still the sexiest RAM in the market.
Here, GPU blocks were installed
Since I was aiming for a white themed build, I had to figure out how my motherboard will look like, so I started with the heatsink, I used vinyl stickers to mod the heatsink... I think it's dope, what do you think? =)
Then, I modded the north bridge heatsink as well to match. Test fitting the CPU block as well to see how it'll look like
CPU block installed... So then, this actually became a bit slow, I was trying to figure out how to cover the area where the IO is, it simply won't work, I hate how it looks like without a cover...
So... here's my solution... just cover it up! Designed something similar to how the original heatsink of the motherboard looked like
Honestly... i went in and got carried away. So I also made a half shroud to cover the RAM slot area. Test fitted the rams and boy I was happy I did it.
Made 2 GPU backplates.... so simple. You'll know why very soon =)
Barrow D5 reservoir pump combo... this actually halted my build for a month. As you can see, they delivered a black D5 cover... good thing they shipped a white one for free
So, after all the planning, Finally, I finished installing the custom loop. This is me, testing the AIGO fans that just arrived. Test with lights in my room on....
Testing the fans with the lights in my room off... Then, there was again something bothering me. I'm a bit OC when it comes to cables, and this case if you can see the bottom right where the PSU is supposed to go... cables will be visible...
So, I did need to do something about the PSU cables... and this is what I came up with. Lets put a shroud to cover the cables. Used acrylic to make a box and design it to match the design of my build
Only picture I came up with. I don't like taking pictures of myself LOL
