The Contest
Hello and welcome to the builds.gg 10K Challenge, brought to you by CableMod!
As our first official contest, we wanted to kick things off with a bang. CableMod will be giving away a minimum of $10,000 USD in prize money for the top 3 builds participating in the contest. What's more, depending on the number of entrants, the prize money can also increase!
There are three ways you can win, explained in detail below. You also find an FAQ section on the official rules page.
Your Contest
To enter this contest with your build, you need to first login or sign up. Then, simply prepare and publish your build!
The Winners
Hardware Prize Gallery
Method 1: Be in the Top 3
The contest is based on the number of votes each build receives. The three builds with the most votes at the end of the contest will share $10,000 USD in prize money. The prize distribution will be as follows:
First Place: $5,000 USD
Second Place: $3,000 USD
Third Place: $2,000 USD
Method 2: Stretch Prizes
Not in the top 3? No problem! There are still more ways to win. CableMod will kick in another $10,000 USD in cash, depending on the number of contest entrants. This separate pool of prize money will be given away at random to people who have entered a build into the contest. These prizes are cumulative, which means the more people participate, the more prizes will be awarded! Find a schedule and an indicator of when additional cash prizes will be added below.
To qualify for these stretch prizes, your build must receive at least 5 votes during the contest period. If so, your build will be entered into this random prize draw.
