Thank you for taking a look at my machine here at builds.gg. I never really posted it on the internet so the opening of this website looked like a fine opportunity. While I am currently building a newer system in the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic, this is my current machine in an NZXT Manta. A bit over 2 years old now but still very responsive and reliable.
I have build many many systems over the years (I work in a computer shop), but this was my first custom loop build. Originally build with with an unlocked i7, 32GB of memory and a Strix GTX 1060 O6G, it's main purpose was running Cinema4D and rendering everything out, mostly still images, using the CPU. Occasionally playing a game or two. That's also the reason I only build a custom loop for the CPU. After a while I had less and less time to learn C4D in my spare time and upgraded the GPU to a Strix GTX 1080 O8G and it solely became a gaming computer.
Personally I always liked the look of industrial machines combined with some retro-looking UV light. So no RGB or bright colors in this build. The Japanese kanji on the front came from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, my favorite spin-off of my favorite video-game series. It spells Zandatsu, meaning "cut and take". If you've never played it, you should :)
The two 850 EVO SSD's were installed in a RAID 0 configuration to increase read speeds as there was no NVMe M.2 socket on my motherboard. To be honest, the increase in speed wasn't worth it but I never had any trouble with it either. As this was my first watercooled build, I didn't bother installing a drain valve. This was the biggest mistake in the entire build.
I hope my machine was somewhat entertaining to some of you and I am looking forward to sharing more builds in the future.
