"Gwynbleidd 2" The Witcher Rig
The continued evolution of my Witcher inspired build.
Upgraded hardware and new custom goodies utilizing hardwoods, leather trim and 3d printed components.
- Custom walnut motherboard tray.
- Revamped top section now uses 2 140mm fans in a raised 3d printed bracket to increase airflow in the component bay.
- Custom walnut top cover, IO panel deleted and an external panel is being used.
- Walnut bottom cover to match the top, this will have the front IO panel laser cut into the center at a later date (once I have a laser cutter đ)
- Cooling compartment has been redesigned. Both radiators now use custom 3d printed brackets that recesses them further into the compartment to allow for thicker 30mm fans that are becoming more popular in the future. Both radiators also feature 3d printed exhaust vents with a snap latch design that lock on to stud screws on the back of the radiator. This allows hot air to immediately exit the case which keeps ambient temps down, improves cooling, reduces the introduction of dust into the case and lowers noise.
- Side fan covers are walnut slats. Because of the exhaust vent design, no dust filters are necessary which improves airflow and reduces noise significantly.
- The "controller tower" has the corsair commander and lighting units in separated 3d printed brackets with magnetic attachments that allows them to snap together and keep the wiring clean.
- Back cover is split into 2 separate sections which allows access to the rear compartment without needing to unplug or shut down the PC. (Useful for quick diagnostic, cleanup, general maintenance and showcasing).
- CPU and GPU use TG liquid metal and direct die cooling.
- Laser Engraved base and glass thumb screw caps.
