This 2020 therapy-build features a horizontal motherboard and custom EK-water loop with push-pull 280mm + 120mm radiators to manage the RTX 3090 and Ryzen 5900x. The 980 Pro M.2 drive pared with 8Tb of RAID 1 HDD is insanely fast managing media in Premier Pro, Lightroom. Games in 4K are an uncompromising spectacle. The RGB lighting is a guilty pleasure but has some pretty cool optical effects when paired with EK's photoactive coolant, MysticFog. The exhaust heat is consolidated and hauled out the top by the Noctua 200mm fan and affords the option to duct the heat exhaust outside during summer months. The ability to duct heat is important because CUBER loves to mine crypto on both CPU and GPU, maintaining over 122 MH/S while keeping everything cool and quiet. The case is uniquely open and allows for terrific airflow and cooling optimization... Everyone acts like they forgot about the HAF XB. It took over 5 months following stock updates and standing in lines at Micro Center to secure all the parts but it was a fun project I think some of you will enjoy, I hope all of you do.
