Temporary setup, until I get a desk and chair and my room gets redone. Currently on the living room/dining room table, so yep, that’s a thing. I couldn’t get the keyboard into the parts list but for those who are curious, it’s a Dierya DK61 Pro, with Krytox 205g0 lubricated Gateron Yellows, and generic Amazon key caps (I bought two sets so I could have black modifier keys). So far no foam mod yet, have yet to clip the stabs, But I added some cry to ask on top of the lube already installed until I can get around to cleaning them and relubing them. I still have to bandaid mod.
This is a progress photo I took on my first in-case post check. Being that this was my first “scratch” build, seeing it all light up in the case was magnificent. When I was putting in the radiator, and as the Micro Center tech advised, Top mounting the AIO would not fit. I asked my teacher (who was helping to a small extent, and advising me along the way), we assumed in theory that it would work, but as it turned out both of us were wrong in our assumptions. The ram was blocking the fans from fitting and the motherboard was too high up, despite the website toting the claim of top mount AIO support. I ended up compromising with front mount, which in all honesty looks great, but limits the amount of good airflow options, and has the risk of trapping air bubbles in the pump, which I mitigated by having the radiator slightly higher than the cpu, so no problems there. I ended up putting all Coursera fans in anyways, sI ended up putting all Corsair fans in anyway.
Here’s the inside (before I set up iCue).
