Finally done

So, I finally got my custom vertical mount and found the time to build the new tubes and mount everything up.

I now have the GPU mounted vertically and have enough space behind it to install the HTC Vive Wireless-Card.
With the LEDs working you can see the 'damage' I needed to do when sanding down the powder coat to get the card to seal properly.

Part finally arrived

So my custom made bracket finally arrived and it is awesome!

Quick recap: In the O11D I'm using, the bottom radiator/fans block me from using a normal bracket; so I came up with the idea to build a bracket that attaches to the top of the fans and serves as a base to hold up my GPU (as well as the wireless-VR-card later on).
I've had no experience with designing 3D-objects in Fusion360 so I learned quite a bit and after printing the technical drawings and comparing them with the parts I sent them off to be manufactured by 3D-Hubs. They were supposed to arrive at the start of April, but due to the current pandemic couldn't be shipped until now.

To feel a custom 3D-Design in solid Aluminium in your hands is very satisfying and the finish on the part looks phenomenal.
Some photos from me trying to mount the 2 riser-cables are below, better equipment for mounting is on its way, so hopefully I'll soon be able to mount it into the system.
