This is a build I put together recently some old parts from my original PC and some new parts i ordered! The build process was pretty straight forward, and it started with stripping down my old PC. Which was housed in an NZXT H440 from 2014. It was an easy case to work in and had no problem getting the power supply and the drives out. Then i started assembling my new components inside my new case. This took quite some time, as some of the cable extensions i have are quite bulky, and don't easily fit into the H700's cable management channels. And not to mention all the wires for the NZXT Hue RGB controller, and internal USB hub. Once i had it all assembled and ready to boot, It turns out it wasn't posting! (Time for troubleshooting). So i narrowed the problem down to my RAM, Which at the time was a 2x8 GB kit of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro at 3200 MHZ. Turns out this memory Isn't compatible with my motherboard. So i threw in some compatible DDR4 2400 that i had lying around to hold me over till my Trident Z Neo's showed up. As for the name Big Blue, i got the idea from tropical coral reefs where the water is almost a turquoise, or a teal color. No case modding or mods have been done, but i am considering some in the future, like a vertical GPU bracket, and maybe some custom water cooling.
