this is the current build, unfortunately i have to put it on carpet, as i dont have the space to sit it on my desk with my large monitors, i vacuum the floors 3-4 times a week and have installed high quality dust filters in the front and the pure base 500 comes with a decent bottom filter for that PSU!
always work in progress.
this us my rig that i have spent about a year upgrading, it was original a i5 6500, and a 670. then for my first main upgrade and bought a 970. at this point i had spent about $350 total. then ryzen 3rd gen was launched and gen2 prices started to drop and i set my eyes on a 2600 (yea before you say "should have got the 1600AF" im pretty sure that thing wasn't even out then) so i found a decent B350 mobo and now i had the CPU power i needed to make my next upgrade make sense. i saved for about 6 months and then found a 1070 card on e-bay new in box, the ASUS 1070 OC that cost me $280 (im in the UK so it may be cheaper in the US) i also made some minor changes like more ram (16gb), new monitor and a new case.
