Antek Striker LiquidDevil

Hello there,

For this build, i've really wanted to build something in the ANTEC STRIKER Case.

Building in this case was really interesting, first because it was my first time with ITX case and because this case need a lot of research and work for doing a good water cooling loop.

Paintjob on the antec striker for a EK Theme !

CPU
Wanted to build a full AMD build, and i was lucky to get my hands on the new ryzen 9 5900x. Pretty overkill here (gaming and work) but still awesome to get one.

GRAPHIC CARD
The RX 5700 XT liquid devil used in this build is my favorite card of all time. she's fast, looks ******* good and under water she compete really well in most games at 2k ultra. I wasn't lucky enough to get a 6800 xt but planning to change the RX 5700 XT for a 6xxx xt as soon as possible and using the RX 5700 xt as a collector piece.

storage
Rest of the build is classic. Samsung Evo for games, mp510 for OS and applications. MX 500 for both games and work stuff.

RAM
2*16 GO of CORSAIR Vengeance RGB PRO 3200 mhz cl18

Watercooling
full Ek as always exept for the reservoir for 2 reasons: - lack of place - availability when it was needed
I've used theTK220 V2 from byski for this build and i'm really happy with the result. 1 out and 2 in + 1 drain, DRGB, DDC pompe, thermal sensor,...

PROBLEMS
2 problems here :
- filling the loop
-dead rgb led strip

indeed, filling the loop was a pain in the *** because i've used the top hole as inlet and wasn't able to fill the loop entirely. I was obliged to had a T plug on top with a 90° to fill the loop. Now i had to wait a little bit for airbubble to get out of the loop and remove the 90 °.

BENCHMARK
right now i'm in stock on every settings.

let's take a look of results.

On cinebench R20, i get 8253 Points . not that bad, but it's not the god CPU from siliconvalley.

temp are insane like always: iddle = 38 ° huge load = average of 67° (spike at 72° on time spy extrem for 1 second because of my fan curve = at 70 ° jump to 40 % to 60 % fan speed. cpu burner = 70 ° stable.

for the RX 5700 XT (AUTO OC with adrenaline), 23/25 ° iddle and 50° with time spy extrem.

I'm using this build with 1 samsung 144 hz 27" 2k monitor with freesync on and max settings + 1080 P 17" for monitoring.

hope you enjoy it !!
