Thanks to a deal at a electronics dealer I got my hands on ASUS Advanced Dual Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080.

Then the new RTX 2080 needs a nice Display to push the stream of pixels to, since I am also going into more Photo and Video editing using my MacBook Pro I picked up a LG 27UK850 4K IPS Display.

And here is a close-up of the updated build with the RTX 2080 installed. I did not have perfect lighting conditions therefore some parts of the image blurry. For the final update I'll create some better shots.

My 2019 AMD Ryzen Gaming PC

This is my first new build for 2019, there will be a second one based on the Dr. Zaber Sentry 2.0 case, which will be my new LAN rig for 2020 and beyond.

This build is my new Gaming PC at home, for work I am using a 2018 15" MacBook Pro.

I am building as budget permits, so this build will be evolving over the year. The inital build is based around some new parts:

  • AMD Ryzen 1700X
  • ASUS Prime X470 Pro
  • Corsair Vengance LED 16GB at 3000 MHz
  • 5 DeepCool RF120 RGB Fans
  • Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic Case

and I am carrying over from my old build:

  • Corasiar H100x AIO
  • Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 Graphics
  • Samsung 850 EVO 256GB 2.5" SSD
  • Crucial MX500 1TB 2.5" SSD
  • Seasonic FOCUS 650 Gold PSU
