The "new" parts for the build. The Ryzen 5 2600 was actually a swap from my home server where I put the Ryzen 7 1700X instead. The optimizations of Zen+ are enough to make the 2600 better for games then the 1700X. To make room for the reference Radeon RX 6700XT (acquired through AMD.com directly) I had to swap out the AIO and to make it look nice I chose the chromax version of the Noctua NH-L9a.
I had to almost fully disassemble the build and put everything back togehter, but I have to say it is looking way cleaner then the watercooled variant.
The Setup running at its spot in the living room.
2021 Sentry 2.0 LAN-/VR-Rig Update
This is an update to my original Sentry 2.0 LAN Build. Since I changed the concept from AIO-Cooling to Air-Cooling and from an ITX GPU to a full size one I figured this is worth a new post. However if you want to see the full story feel free to check out the previous iteration. Due to the Pandemic the PC has surved more as my living room VR-Rig then its intended purpose as a LAN-Rig, but I hope that we can get back to LAN-Parties in 2022.
