This was a client project that took some time with regards to planning and design. The InWin 909 has been rather popular with modders and most everything has been done to it already. Almost every one of those ends up packing as much cooling and hardware into the individual compartments as possible and filling out the case. Since we strive to provide something unique for every client, the standard approach wouldn't work.
With the initial plans for dual 1080 Ti's and a 7900X, we knew cooling would need to be improved over stock capabilities. We borrowed the idea of cutting into the front of the case to make room for a 360mm rad. From there, we decided to rotate the motherboard and vertically mount the GPU. Cutting out the top and rear separations opened up the design and allowed for a very nice flow throughout the case. The resulting offset look of the rads and parts led to the project's name.
