My latest mini PC, Really happy with how this turned out and surprised at how well it performs for such a small form facture.
The Case, it’s a Geeek Case A1. It comes flatpacked but very easy to assemble and very customisable. Made up of acrylic panels and a small metal frames, I wouldn’t call the case high quality but once assemble its solid and robust. Plus it’s only cheap but well worth the money you pay for it. I think the shipping and customs charge to the UK cost more than the case.
Performance, the 3400G is a little monster. I haven’t played a game on it yet and thought this is unplayable. Yes a lot lower settings and a lower fps than what I’m used to but certainly not unplayable and still a better gaming experience than console. I really recommend this chip for someone just getting into PC gaming on a budget.
Upgrades? Yes, planning on getting some 3600 memory soon, also keeping an eye on 3200 cl14 as its not far off equal performance. But also needs to be RGB as RGB is life. Maybe in a year or so I will get an X570 motherboard along with a gen 4 m.2.
Again thank you for spending your time to read this as I do appreciate it. Happy to answer any questions or if you just fancy a chat about PC’s then all is good with me ????
