WiFi sucked (1mb/s if youre lucky), so i found an cat 6 cable lol and plugged it in the wall adapter(220v) now it downloads at 6/7 mb/s which is fine for me


And i bought these cheap LED bars that power via USB which actually turn on and off via the tv remote :D

Ive been thinking to fuse some pcs together, and I definitely want my HDD cage back behind glass, but i dont know where to start lol

This time i'm doing it right, the mighty queen-pc gets her well respected place.

As she leaves the TV's she teleports under her long awaited black desk to a ultrawide monitor, and all the pheriphials shine and fly along with her.

But she was hurt, an old BIOS was up to no good! It started off imperceptible after the recievement of 32GB ram, which mislead my copied 970 Evo to BSOD after long time bootup! Also my NZXT Hue+ power led light seems to not be working still to this day, but i got the LED strips to work again tho! They were frozen static and half length on. This everything just simply fixed with a magicly BIOS update (ver 2004) and its back like a train! Even the RAID0 is intact so gibs to Asus for their support!

To be honest, the first desk isn't really usable.. lol. But it fits nicely next to the new one so im happy.

update: After enjoying the cabling management on the other side of the room i figured that im gonna start this side too, luckily i got 4 cable sleeves and i can finally place my feet somewhere lol.




Im gonna order a vesa mount for the screen soon and it will hang slightly higher, which makes more room for my hands keyboard mouse elbows etc.

Okay, i kinda did my mouse and keyboard wrong, the way i want to use them for, lol.
The trashtop is collecting just as much dust as the mac so its time to get busy.

Ofcourse i will clean it out first as the desk is a 360 rotation thing i can also put it in the other corner but i actually dont know if it works out so we will have to see o.0

How on earth.. well you know if it fits how are you gonna put youre monitor on top of that in there ?

Luckily i measured the crab out of everything and youre right, ultrawide wont fit nicely. But this is just by a small amount of space so i actually think im going to hang it, lower than the stand, and use a tilt to make it pleasant to watch if its to low.

That or sell/swap it for a 120/144hz 16:9 screen like 27" inches.

So i've been itching to put this pc next to the other and game on it, but... internet is going to be a problem. I demand cable, cat5, i have one.. and its very long, but im gonna look into it asap. Im totally out of my comfort zone when it comes to these modems and routers.

Having a 2nd router also crossed my mind so i can have everything upstairs, properly LAN connected, PS4/XB1/PC

I will also need 4x DisplayPort to HDMI 4K 60Hz compatible cables to the TV's.

Oh about the Mac..

It outputs via DVI so a DVI to HDMI cable is required with a max of 2560x1600 digital and through mini DisplayPort it supports up to 4K. But i havent figured out yet how to output signal trough anything else than DVI

I ran a internet LAN cable from router downstairs to PC on top floor.

Grabbed my audio kit for pc

I have 2x Samsung 43" 4K TV's that i am going to VESA wall mount in the cave.

I will take the Glasstop, Trashtop and even the Mac Pro to the cave and make it all 1 big Nebuchadnezzar mothership.

Thats the plan, since im not going to upgrade to RTX 3 series im going to lower my resolution. But whenever im watching a movie i can always switch back to 4K.
The TV's are 1080p / 1440p / 2160p supportive, HDR 60Hz.

I like my cave and i was thinking about a desk, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit in my aura. So i have to come up with a Mouse + Keyboard solution while sitting on a sofa.

Furthermore when wifey gets her soundbar for our living room, i will move the 5.1 Surround Set to the cave. (This will take a while and i might even get me an 2nd receiver with 2 speakers)

The Glasstop, im thinking she needs a 5TB HDD for.. well.. anything, get the 4 SSD's out of the way and house these in our laptops

The Trashtop, its at good as it is, maybe it will get an RTX 2060super but im not counting on that

The Mac, yeah ill let it collect some dust first

Apart from these 2 PC's (and unimportant Mac) there is also a XBOX ONE that i like to plug into 1 of the TV's. But i also have :

- 34" 3440x1440p Samsung Monitor 75Hz
- 24" 1080p Samsung curved Monitor 60Hz

I would like to first start off with the Trashtop on dual TV's (incl XBOX), and later on switch it with the Glasstop (incl XBOX) while leaving the Trashtop at the same TV the XBOX is on, so both PC's can run simultaneously if wanted. The Mac for now outputs trough VGA so it needs the 24" monitor, which also needs a place. But is last priority for now.
