update: Side panel is on, how convenient.. the sqaure hole i made for the GPU connectors to pop out, it actually holds the panel in place for now. And the fan is hold by 4 screws which later also lights up RGB, and i want this silver metal piece on it but gotta find one somewhere
Its still rough and got lots of ideas for the finish but need some more tools.
Lol:
update: I went to bring the rx480 back to its rightful owner and he gave a white rgb fan by coolermaster
Idk why but it had to exhaust air inside the Mac Pro including rgb and everything but this was to much tinkering even after my taste
Casually i placed it like this :
And from then and there i knew i had to make a windowed side panel to close it up and keep this cyberpunk city aesthetic feel to it so i went looking for some plexiglass and this happened so far :
I tried cleaning it but it has some shit on it that wont go so whatever, next i need to find my rgb controller hub to make the fan light up and determine where the screw holes and air flow holes should come. I dont want a cm gap and i also dont wanna cut a stroke for the gpu so let me thinker some more
update: replaced my stereo and also the speakercables to extra thick ones
TV’s go by the marshall or their own sound
It is time
Going to grab my 5.1 stereo tower speaker set and try to hook it up to both TV’S, i got an aux splitter and im going to test if this works, anyhow its gonna be upstairs and connected to the trashtop (people love the couch coops lol) to improve the experience because im so sure the subwoofer will absolutely bomb the place but it’ll be awesome watching movies now that i ordered another 4K60Hz HDMI cable and 4K HDMI / DP adapter for the TV on the right everything is coming to a finish.
Though… at the moment :
But i will show no fear and cable manage every last one of them, cant wait to zip tie those cables under tv one last time haha, that 70’s lavalamp light also needs a better place i think it goes well next the mac, anyhow some days have passed now and this just happened :
I didnt quite unplug everything just the main things, the trashtop computer is going from RCA to an AUX with an
thick high quality cable,
Ive seen rca on the dual 4K TV’s maybe they work.. as of my 1080p curved TV just doesnt? Also the two 4K TV’s dont have aux out but i just might, if RCA works, hook up both TV’s to one channel on the receiver or im forced to use digital.
Oh and the subwoofer is banging yess and when i buy more speaker cables i will hook up the back speakers to make it 5.1 Dolby Atmos as of its now 2.1 stereo for the best quality of the sound for now.
update: My WiFi really sucks up here so my original plan was to have an extra router here, but i found something so amazing that i have to share it. Theres in the wall (electrics) everywhere internet throughout my house because of the 1 thats wired to modem, the other can be placed anywhere and 2 ethernet cables jump out. I will also try an WiFi signal booster to see if that also helps.
update: I ordered a cable sleeve for all them cables shooting out under the TV’s and for now i am kinda done with this side of the room haha.
Some future plans are:
- paint the room
- decorate the ceiling f.e; paint old motherboards white and hang them
- PlayStation 5
