Build all lit up. Fans are blue and red, but hard to see with my phone camera.
Build with no lights on.
Gaming setup
Build before the custom loop
Cable management before the custom loop
Everything stripped out and ready to start.
Bare backside
My father is a tool and die maker, and rather than buying a tool to bend tubing he made one for me. Has a 90, 45, and 135 angle and was free.
First bend I did. Did what I thought would be the hardest first and came out perfect.
All bends completed
Only bends I didn't use. Experimented with twisting a ruined bend to see what was possible... Didn't work.
Spacer for mounting the pump to the side of the PSU housing so that the reservoir cleared the end of the GPU.
Bracket to prevent the GPU from sagging. Sits just under the strix logo on the GPU block.
First leak test. Had a bad 90 degree fitting on the gpu block that had to be replaced, delayed the build a couple days.
Cables before they've been managed. What a nightmare.
Six hours of managing cables.
First Custom Loop
My first custom loop that I've built. I've had this PC for a little over a year now, and have been upgrading components throughout, and decided to make the plunge and build a custom loop. This build was a blast and I will definitely be doing custom loops for my future builds. Special thanks to my father who helped with modifying the case and making the extra components, as well as the bending tool.
