Arctic Gypsy
This is my 1440p gaming PC named Arctic Gypsy. It originally started as a white case FX8350 build cooled by a white AIO liquid cooler, hence where the name came from. I upgraded to the H500P case and went crazy with custom hard line water cooling when I updated to the Ryzen platform and the name just kind of stayed with the system overall.
I had previously modified the H500P case by doing the mesh mod to the front and top panels to allow for more airflow, but I found out that by adding two 360mm PrimoChill radiators that it was brute force cooling the PC just fine so I removed my modifications back to stock in favor of not having to dust out my PC every week. It requires a bit more fan speed now (still not all that noticeable when it comes to noise) but temperatures tend to stay in the 40C range overall. The cooling system is all set to alter fan speeds by monitoring coolant temperature where the PrimoChill D5 CTR pump monitors the CPU temps, staying at about 30% until 70C.
The Vega 64 wasn't my inital choice for a GPU, but I got it at a steal of a price last minute, so I couldn't pass it up. Overall, this combo with the Ryzen 1600X works very well for me on my 1440p 144hz monitor.
I do have a few upgrades planned in the future. Namely I want to swap the case for the Phanteks P600S Anthracite and swap out the CPU for one of the new Ryzen chips coming out later this year, 8 core minimum depending on prices.
