Do some cable management they said. It will be fun they said.
(Image shows additional Samsung SSD which now is not in the build anymore)
At least some cable management
Even the cat knows what's good =)
Done! =)
Let's get things started!

This is me blocking the table. Luckily, I finished on the same day or my girlfriend would have killed me ^^
ASUS AURA SYNC Project
Yet Another Custom Cooled Computer!
I am in building computers for years, this one is my first with a water cooling solution, and it's fully custom.
Intention I wanted to have everything Asus Aura Sync compatible (because I had the mainboard first), everything should have a distinct/unique look without visually breaking anything, and I wanted to be free of choice of manufacturers/brands (as long as luminiscent components were compatible with Aura Sync), and I believe that this build shows a nice mix of what's possible.
Thermal & Cooling The CPU (i7 7700K - innately a hothead) has been delidded and liquid metal was applied to improve cooling/heat transfer. There are two 360mm radiators, the top one (pull, blows hot air out to follow natural thermal lift) is 45mm thick, the front one (push/pull, blows cold air in) is 60mm thick. A rear case fan blows cold air into the case giving the whole build a slight overpressure which results in a good airflow with fresh cold air from outside the case.
Next steps:
Custom cables (black, grey, white color scheme) will follow
Decent vendor logos printed out of diffusion film
Maybe another case? Waiting for a Cooler Master C700M donation ;)
More (RGB) impressions:
I tried to be as precise as possible with the parts list, but some components were left out because they're too common (like some cables), were only part of the building process or chances are very small that someone else has the same product:
Finally I got rid of all visible cables by mounting cable buckets under my desk. Additionally I created a desk hutch and mounted 19" rack hardware into it (mic preamp and power distribution).
Keyboard Update
As I managed to break down the Roccat keyboard after only 6 months (w-key barely accepts inputs), I switched to a new one, the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2. I hope this will last longer - otherwise I guess I have to rethink the way of (ab)using keyboards
Added GPU block

New Roccat keyboard (because ASUS gets worse and worse)
ThermalTake sponsored a single Riing Plus 14 fan!
I saw a post from ThermalTake in Facebook where they advertised their new Riing Quad fans - and besides I already asked them two times before I thought to give it a try and ask again. And hey! They responded some minutes later and sent me a single Riing Plus 14 fan - yay! Why? Because I refused to buy a triple package when I only need one. So... Many many thanks to ThermalTake for donating this one fan, this makes the build more complete :]
