This build is my entry into the Fractal Design Meshify S2 Mod Contest with two other very experienced, exceptional PC modders - Joe and Piotr. It is actually my first modded pc that was just more than adding parts. It was an incredible learning experience from start to finish... and lots of fun!! My thoughts behind the build were to take an element, a shape in this instance, from the case and incorporate it into the design. I did that by laser cutting hexagonal patterns into 6mm thick acrylic for both the top fan grill and front fan grill - then sanded to a fogged appearance. The black parts of the case have been painted black frosted pearl - this was a long, but engaging, process. Overall, I love the outcome.
I have to give a shout-out to our sponsors for making this all awesomeness happen:
Fractal Design (Meshify S2, tons of Prisma AL fans, vertical GPU mount, 750W Integra M(not in part selection), S36 AIO, and the whole contest!) - Shawn was awesome to work with while collaborating on ship dates/build dates, thanks a ton! Zotac (GTX 1660ti) - You guys make a pretty beefy, highly-modable, powerhouse of a card - in a tiny package! I was thoroughly surprised by the 1660ti! Cable Mod Cables/Sleeves - Cable management was a breeze! Side note: You can use the AIO cables as cable wraps! Lots of the Cable Mods aren't available to select but I used the basic extension kit - white. I also had the technical expertise of some close friends to help with prototyping.
