Dog

This build started off as a birthday gift who knows how long ago and I've been upgrading it ever since. As you might expect... theres no longer any of the original parts in it lol. The Computer is named "Dog" becuase my parents were really strict and wouldn't even let me have a fish as a pet so I had to rebel somehow lol..

Been wanting to upgrade it for a pretty long time now but I don't really have the money to do so currently. (I need it somewhere else) Getting a new GPU would actually be really helpful because I have a 4k monitor and believe it or not.. my old ass FX 8350 doesn't bottleneck the system as much as you might think at that resolution. 4k is mostly GPU bound so a 2080 ti would be a hell of a lot of help. I've upgraded everything else to a reasonable level for the time being and only really need a more modern CPU (GPU too though not as much considering its just 1 generation behind but would be greatly appreciated) The color of my setup has never been rainbow/rgb but instead 1 solid color. I had it as green for a really long time due to not having RGB but now that I have RGB I've switched it to blue. I might change it later and I can do so easily now due to my entire setup being RGB now.

You might notice the huge bookshelf speakers and subwoofer... I got really into music for a while and now these things just live at my desk. The speakers are the Fluance SX6, after broken in they sound great; I got them on a really good sale otherwise I would have gone for smaller speakers. They are run by the small SMSL 50 watt amp on the bottom right of the monitor. The sub is a Dayton Audio SUB-1000, its not too overpowering due to it being only 100 watts but for a desk setup it is more than enough. Also got a pair of Audio Technica m40x headphones and added some bigger earcups to them. They sound amazing and feel extremely comfortable.. would reccomend.

Fun Facts: I got this monitor for an extremely low price becuase my dad's work no longer needed it. (I would have gone with a lower resolution higher refresh rate monitor otherwise). My keyboard is a Corsair k70 LUX but I got upset at how dim it was even on max brightness so I printed out a templete of the keyboard and cut out spaces for all the the keycaps and put on a custom backplate. Now it is matte white instead of the black metal which reflects the light MUCH better and shows off the keyboard more. The cable management of a glass desk is the worst nightmare somebody could ever have. I decided to finally get rid of the spaghetti desk that plagued my previous setups and make a wire bundle that runs behind the metal bars on the desk. I'm actually really proud of how neat it turned out.
