Here is the design. 3 x 360mm rads, all in push pull.
The back rads will be blowing towards each other. Not sure if this is a good idea as they will be blowing hot air. I may have to find a way to difert the air flow. There is about 9in between the fans.
Marking out the motherboard tray cutouts
This picture shows where the motherboard cutouts are going to be to get to the back of the mobo. I will also be routing cables through these spaces as well.
I also wanted to get the standoffs installed.
Paul's hardware had a good little bit of info on how to put standoffs in wood.
Motherboard and front panel inputs mounted.
You can see the Byksky radiator mount.
Fans arrived. I should be doing some major assembly this weekend.
Third radiator mounted!
Scratch Built Open Case
I wanted to try and build my own computer case. I wanted to have a push/pull setup for my three radiators, vertical GPU mount and somewhat easy to maintain. This is what I came up with. Let me know what you think or if you see areas to improve. I will post pics as I progress.
