EK Water Blocks Classic Line EK-FC Strix RTX 2080 Ti
During build without graphics card
Project Borg
The goal of this build was to be able to also transport it to LANs. Compared to my old air cooled ATX build it is a lot less noisy. The only thing one can hear is the air flow itself under full load. It is completely silent under normal load like surfing, programming or watching videos.
Airflow design Airflow was designed so that all fresh air is coming from the back. This was done because this way no hot air is pushed into the case. -> Noctua F12 intake (with pump bracket mounted on it) -> 2 * Be quiet Silent Wings 3 in push config under top rad (pushing heat out of the top) -> 2 * Noctua A14 in pull config between front rad and case (pushing heat out in the front)
Thermals The loop has an inline water temperature sensor at the top radiator. I'm using an Aqua Computer Quadro as controller for the sensor, all the fans and the pump. The max water temperature of the loop is set to 40°C in the aquasuite.
Load testing using Prime 95 small FFTs & Heaven at max: -> Water temp: 40°C -> GPU: 60°C (@2085MHz) -> CPU: 78°C (@stock clocks) -> Be queit Silent Wings 3 @ 1100 rpm -> Noctua A14 @ 1000 rpm
