Not only was this my first go at water cooling it was my first pc build period. It may have been a little ambitious for a first build but I really enjoyed all the research and planning that I had to do. I like a challenge. I bought one part at a time over the course of about eight months. After eight months of collecting parts and some knowledge I have finally finished it and am very happy with the outcome. The first time I saw a water cooled computer was in the anime 'serial experiments: lain' as a teenager. Because of that, I began referring to it as "nAVI" immediately after deciding to do a loop. I chose the bequiet dark base 700 because I knew that I wanted to do a full loop and it has lots of space without being too big. The fan controller is a plus. Also, I think it is pretty f?)*ing sexy. There is however one issue with this case, the top panel has almost no ventilation. I purchased it being aware of this flaw and with the intent to modify it. The first thing I did was cut a huge hole in the top panel and installed a metal grill. I also made and painted three acrylic panels to hide the hard drive slots and give the interior a cleaner look. The loop is a EK liquid gaming a240g kit. It includes a cpu block, gpu block, res/pump combo, tubing, fittings and a liquid concentrate. With that kit I also purchased a 360 radiator kit, two 90 degree fittings and a larger reservoir tube. I put the 360 radiator in the front and the 240 radiator at the top. I left one of the included bequiet fans (which are really nice btw) at the rear of the case. I also ordered some custom CableMod sleeved cables. I used the configure menu and chose my colors. So far every part i used has worked great. I am very happy with the completed build and have found excuses to do three more builds! :)
