I AM GROOT!!! My first custom loop with insane RGB overkill
Some people have pets. Some have plants. I decided to perch Groot on my rig to represent. Yes, there is even a RGB light in his head that is also synced. Just an upload of my first build featuring custom cooling and mainly addressable RGB lighting. The RGB lighting added to the CPU and GPU blocks is not stock. I added non-addressable, 5050 SMD RGB strips to them. Any additional RGB lighting is either WS2812B strips put inside of light diffusing aluminum channels or Silverstone FG122 fan frames mounted between the fans and the chassis or radiators. The light inside the Monsoon MMRS reservoir is a Monsoon MMRS UV light with a G1/4 fitting to secure it at the top. I wish I could upload a video to do this build more justice. All the lighting is synced and run with Asus Aura software thanks to a couple of XSPC, SATA powered, 5V, addressable, RGB hubs connected to the addressable, 5V, RGB header on the motherboard. Fortunately, that includes being able to turn it completely off or setting it to a static color if it gets annoying for whatever reason. In my personal opinion, I absolutely love it. It still has an AMD, R5, 1600X CPU in it. I'm waiting for the Zen 2 processors to come out to upgrade it. Eventually, all of the Arctic Bionix F120 fans will be replaced with the BlackNoise Noiseblocker eLoop B12-P fans. A definite notable mention is the coolant. It is UFO Technologies Cryo-Chillz with UV dye added. I listed it as Galactic Black, but it's actually a custom color. The site would not let me add my own, but I did submit a request to add it.
