Everything but the waterblocks and case have been recycled from my past builds.
The GPU block is not well designed. The IO shield of the GPU is not well secured and there are no way to help about that without you providing one small screw and nut before installing the backplate. Also, this backplate combined with that motherboard is not just a tight fit, the backplate touches the chipset cooler. The backplate is REALLY a thick boy. I had to force fit the thing and it was scary because after 4 leaks, a GPU not pluged in correctly was the last thing i wanted to see.
The tubing looks messy but i honnestly had no choice. They are 19mm, the fittings are big and if i wanted to use 3 radiators and a D5 pump it had to be like that. Also, i had to recycle the cooling hardware.
I may add 180 degrees angled GPU power plugs later.
The fans run constantly at 200rpm, i tested the temps between 200 and max rpm, the GPU gets 4 degrees hotter and the CPU gets nothing. !!!!!!! Look at the edit
When i game at night, without the headset and sound off, the only thing i can hear is the PSU fan.
EDIT : I had to use a fan curve because when i tested the 200rpm, the load was not shared. During hammer time, the temps were slowly rising to the sun. Hard to cool 400w almost passively i guess. I found out the hard way.
The water and all the loop was so hot, it made the tubes reaaaaaaaly soft and felt like they could melt. The fittings were burning hot.
The pump can rotate on itself and the weight of the fittings add a lot of force. The tubes connected to the pump help the assembly to stay in place, but since they were so soft, the pump started to rotate and a tube was starting to get out of the fitting.
I was scared as fuck. But it's just a few drops and the water is non conductive and brand new.
For those who don't want to buy something to plug a probe and control fan speed depending on the water temp, the software Argus Monitor let you make a fan curve for the CPU, one for the GPU and it control the fan speed depending on the one curve who need the highest speed.
