Built for a friend as a birthday gift for his daughter.
Almost everything was painted or modded in some way.
Fan grills are from Sakurai Armory; I added the pink to her hat.
Silently judging my work...
I used an EZDIY strip instead of the Noodle because I didn't want Nexus involved in the RGB control.
Cables are hand made with MDPC-X sleeving. I painted the cable combs, as well as the AIO tube clamps.
Critiquing my cable management, too.
Nexus allows you to display gifs on the screen; I edited this video of her dancing and converted to a gif. To me it was the best part of the build.
Note that it doesn't play the music I added: the song is That's Not My Name by The Ting Tings.
Hyte X Kuromi
This was a build done for a friend's daughter. We were targeting upper mid-range gaming, with a portion of the budget set aside for aesthetics. There's a Microcenter in my area, so the 7600X3D was a great choice for the budget.
I managed to keep all the RGB control within iCUE by using a Lighting Node Pro for the GPU and RGB strip. Rather than the Hyte Noodle, I used the basically identical version from EZDIY. I chose this to avoid Hyte's Nexus software involvement. It's still a little buggy, and its OpenRGB integration doesn't play nice with other RGB software, in my experience.
That said, Nexus does have a lot of customization options for the Y70's LCD screen. I put a dancing [Kuromi](https://imgur.com/gallery/hyte-x-kuromi-GhxgAv6) on it.
The case has a TON of custom work. I made the sleeved PSU cables, and painted the cable combs to match the case. I added pink and purple accents to multiple parts (case, motherboard, AIO tube clamps). The pink skulls (from Kuromi's hat) are painted onto the GPU fans. The fan covers are from Sakurai Armory; they do really nice 3D prints.
