All parts mounted at their intended spots. Tubing and cable management still to do.
The finished result. You can also notice the Logitech Z906 front and sub.
A closer look at the left inside with the PSU and the custom CableMod cables are in the foreground.
To the right inside we have the motherboard
Fan outtake on the side (the intake is on the opposite site) and the on/off button with USB connections (taken from a Fractal Design Define R6).
Started system with the keyboard and mouse
Left inside with storage, air intake through the EKWB radiator. The fans are recessed in the side of the desk.
Right inside with the Monsoon reservoir and pump combo, the EKWB radiator and fans are mounted in the same way as on the left side.
A view of all the components once Windows has started and the Asus Aura have applied my configuration.
Desk(top) computer
Moved all my hardware out of a traditional case and built my own desk, with room for all the hardware. The objective for the build was to have as small desk as possible and get rid of a big case on the desk.
The desk is made out of 10mm MDF, which I glued together to be 20mm. The main reason is for stability in the bottom and to make a small shelf for the glass to rest on. The table measures in at 1000x650mm.
The only modification I have done to the components is painting the chrome plates on the graphic card water block with a gold finish to better match my theme of gold and blue.
