The beauty of pure silence
My main goal with this build was to create the perfect mix between silent operation and a stunning look, as it is positioned quite close to me on my desk.
There is no specific color scheme, because I wanted to have the ability to change the colors the way I want due to the excessive RGB lighting.
All lights are controlled via ASUS Aura Sync (except for the Corsair peripherals).
The choice of components is the right amount of power I need for my use case, but the main focus was on a silent operation.
So there are no spinning harddrives, only SSDs, the case and radiator fans are turned down as low as possible.
One problem I had was choosing the perfect CPU cooler, as a custom loop would be way to expensive and an air cooler would block the LEDs of the mainboard an also the Phanteks Halos in the back.
So I decided to go with an AIO.
I bought several different models, starting with the Kraken X62 from NZXT, both made loud humming and even cracking noises, so I returned them, bought a Corsair H115i Platinum RGB but the performance and also noise were much worse.
So I ditched them, stayed with the AMD Wraith Stock cooler from my Ryzen 5 2600X until the Enermax Liqtech II 360 was available to purchase in Germany. I was very happy with the looks of the whole system with the Enermax in it and the cooling performance was the best out of the other AIOs I tried.
From the noise level it wasn't really audible, but a slight humming noise was coming from the pump area.
There might be a chance, that I will change it again to the Fractal Design S36, maybe it will be dead silent.
I hope you like my current build.![Emoji]()
