After Effects Optimized Z390 Consumer Workstation
I built this computer because I got tired of my After Effects renders taking forever so I looked into how to optimize a computer for AE. This is similar to some other optimal AE builds with the difference that I have my assets and output (as well as a few other things) on their own dedicated drives.
Seagate Barracuda - 6 TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive (x2) [bulk slow storage]
Samsung - 860 Pro 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive [C drive]
Samsung - 860 Pro 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive [bulk fast storage/general stock assets]
Samsung - 970 Pro 512 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive [Adobe Cache]
Samsung - 970 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (x2) [Project Specific Assets, Rendering Output]
Yes my cable management is garbage, things are still in flux...😅
These days I'm spending most of my time in Blender on the way to becoming a 3D Generalist (Yeah that's still in flux too 😄)
