5000D reBuild

After recently upgrading, we had enough hardware to build another PC. We asked around and a friend of ours said that they would like to give it to their son as a gift. DEAL!! =D

We only encountered one small issue with the pins for the front panel power/led/reset switch, they were directly under where the rail for the GPU support bracket would mount. We got around this issue by crimping (and insulating) some lower profile connectors. After this, the bracket mounted flush, without contacting the front panel header connectors.

The rest of the build went very smoothly and, after setting up a few values in the BIOS, we loaded up the OS and ran some benchmarks. The system performed as expected and the thermals remained under 70C (68C Max) during all-core testing. Idle temps bounce between 38-48C.
