Chameleon
Hello everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and having a look at my build.
I always dreamed of having a custom loop for my build and finally decided to give it a go.
Before I started with rigid tubing, I used a starter kit (soft tubing) from EKWB in my 'Phanteks Evolv' build.
Once infected with "the watercooling virus" I decided to sell everything and start from scratch using the 'Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic' as a base.
My intention with this build was to keep the overall look clean and neutral when turned off, but bright and vibrant when turned on.
I wanted a coolant color that reflects light best, so that's why I went for EK's 'Solid Cloud White'. That way the build blends into (or stands out) virtually any environment (hence the name "Chameleon"). This also makes it easier for me to do themed setup for my IG.
I very much enjoyed the building progress, that I'm looking forward to making the next one!
Tips, comments and suggestions to improve are always welcome!
And for those who have left an Approval, I thank you for your support!!
Updates after finishing the build:
- Replaced the Asus Maximus VII Formula for the Maximus XI Formula.
- Replaced the Core i7 6700K for the Core i7 9700K (due the motherboard's Z390 chipset).
- I also bought a support bracket to prevend the gpu from sagging.
- Meanwhile I also added the Crosschill EK III waterblock to the loop.
- Replaced the Acer Predator X34A monitor for a X34P
- EKWB was so nice as to sponsor me the EK-Velocity D-RGB - Nickel + Plexi
- The RGB lighting of all my 6 Corsair LL120 fans died so I replaced them for the Thermaltake Riing Trio 12 fans
