I'm fairly new to PC building. I started around 2017, but have in the passed modified, and fixed old IBM laptops. I started as more of a means of being able to play PC titles as cheap as a could. I started of with a Sandy Bridge Pentium, 4gb of ram, gt 730, 320gb used hard drive, and a dell motherboard in a Antec case. All my gear was from thrift stores, and couldn't have been more than a 120 dollar setup. So let that be a bit of inspiration to anyone right now who can't afford a killer rig right now.
