Shifted Evolv X
I had to carve open my Evolv Shift X to harvest some of its organs parts to transplant into Shadow Wraith and realised that I hadn't actually taken any pictures of it previously. So here are a few before I drained it down and hacked it open.
The eagle-eyed among you will notice that there are no cables. No, I haven't invented wireless power cables
, unfortunately my cables had already been removed for their connectors before I decided to take some shots.
This was my first truly custom water build. By custom I mean I took an angle grinder and dremel to this on many an occasion in order to do the following mods:
As far as I am aware (and I did a lot of research at the time!) this is the only Evolv Shift running a 480 rad, which took a ton of work and tinkering to make fit. I decided to move my build to a Singularity Wraith before I had the chance to CNC the rear panel fan cutouts and ran it without the rear panel for most of it's (short) life, so I never got around to giving it my signature shadow black wrap.

This was my first truly custom water build. By custom I mean I took an angle grinder and dremel to this on many an occasion in order to do the following mods:
- Make a 480(!) EK SE Coolstream radiator fit
- Make fan/radiator cutouts for 6 120mm fans
- Modify motherboard support tray
- Reverse panels orientation (front panel on rear, rear panel on back)
- Reverse power outlet orientation (rear to the front - which is now the new rear)
- Modify top IO panel to convert vents into pass throughs to hide water tubing
- Modify base panel to allow cable routing into base
- Probably some more that i've forgotten
