Winds of Winter

This is my first custom loop system that I use to game when I can. Originally was going to be in the Define R6, but it was delayed long enough for the O11 Dynamic to come out so I switched cases. The O11 Dynamic is a fantastic case that was great and easy to work in. The only bummer about it was how front IO cables are set up in the back of the case. With the radiators I had they wouldn’t fit in the back because the cables interfered as well as a tie down loop. Because of this the only way the side radiator would fit was to put it in front with the port facing the back of the case so I had to run part of the loop in the back of the case using soft tubing. With part of the loop in the back it made it easy to add in a drain port out of sight.

With a portion of the tubing in the back I wanted to try and fill out the case with the rest of the tubing and that is why I went with the layout I did. Bending wasn’t bad at all I only redid one since it didn’t come out as good as I wanted, but there aren’t really any difficult bends in this build. The only tricky one was the output on the pump to the back of the case. Getting it to fit well through the cutout with enough room for the drain port took a few times to get it to fit right. With the two 360 rads this thing runs near silent even while gaming and that was my intention. I will at some point overclock and see how far I can get this 8700K to go, but since I will probably bring it back to stock as silent running is amazing.

Obviously I went with the white and light blue colors because they look good together. I like how this looks without the LEDs on with the balance between the blue and white so it looks good on or off.
