Two-011 "The Master"

Following up on my previous build I wanted to see what could be done with some simple mods and to see how clean I could keep the aesthetic of the system. I used zero symmetry in the tubes which is usually a bad formula as the human eye is drawn to symmetry and in water cooled PCs the easiest thing to do to make a system look good is run perfectly symmetrical tubes. So in light of no symmetry in the tubes I wanted to make short runs and hide the tubes as much as possible. The build started as an Aorus theme which only deviated at the video card due to my curiosity as to what could be done with a 2080 TI non "A" chip GPU while on water. I was greatly pleased to find that water cooling opened up the frequency a good bit to a stable 2165. However the 2080 TI power limit is still a problem no matter how cool the chip is and seems to limit the cards output. I decided to not go silly on the stickers and branding in light of a more understated look with just a couple color ways to set off the Aorus motherboard and RAM. The processor runs at a stable 5.2 Ghz and never hits 70C. As a point of interest I mocked up this system with both a split loop and a single pass loop and as many have reported I found no cooling benefit from running the loop GPU to RAD to CPU to Rad To RES. In the config Pump to GPU to CPU to Rad1 to Rad2 to RES it ran exactly the same in terms of thermals.

Final thoughts on some of the parts in this system; The 9700K overclocks like a dream on this board. I found that XMP profile 1 and sliding the power slider to 5.2Ghz in the Intel Extreme overclocking app was all it took. I set the GPU to +180 and the Memory to +1000, power slider maxed at 112% Everything just worked and i find it refreshing to have overclocking work so simple to get that much of a gain. The Heatkiller GPU and CPU blocks had great fit and finish, the one compliant I would have for the CPU block is that it does not come with a back plate. I really like the reservoir bit it was a bit of a pain to get all the parts needed for the config. I had to purchase the whole res in a D5 bottom, then I had to buy new struts in silver, a new glass flute to match the length of the struts and a res top and a fan mount kit. I am really happy with the outcome but dang was it hard to wrangle all the parts for this layout. Aqua computer Quadro and NEXT D5 pump round out the cooling with the Quadro handling the fan controls and the NEXT D5 running the pump and most of the RGB.

Please stand by and I will get all the custom parts listed to get a more accurate cost.

Thank you for stopping by!
