Ok, maybe you're right, but I still absolutely love it, makes it unique...


I always wanted to try custom water cooling. My current PC slowly started to show some bottlenecks, so I figured it would be time. Time for a big one. So i started to plan, made lists, waited for CPU reveals, bought a 10980XE and waited and waited and waited. I'm not sure if Intel ever delivered those but before I could find out I'd already switched to team red and went full Threadripper. So my old PC was transformed into a home server and the day I finally was able to put everything together into my new case was probably one of the most exciting and fun days I've ever had.

I use this PC daily for my work as a photographer. But it also shines in gaming, and since I do that in 4K the CPU isn't bottlenecking (so far). The total cost of the build was around 10'000 Swiss Francs, without peripherals.
