The Sapphire X-Wing
So, finally got enough money together to ascend my GF's current laptop-on-a-couch setup to something i truly take pride in.
The CableMod vertical GPU holder and the Cable mod AIO tubing covers complete this White/Sapphire look perfectly for her!
My personal build is Star Wars themed and she loved the idea of my huge dark (Empire) build versus her small but colorful (Rebel) build so we got an X-Wing fighter from Revell and custom painted it to match the Sapphire blue streak that is featured throughout the build.
I had to use some ingenuity to fit fans on the radiator in the small space in-between the front panel cover and the case. This leaves the front panel slightly bent but the 3D effect it already has (meshify - DUH!) makes it non-noticeable.
All in all, we loved building in this thing and it is gorgeous. It runs smoothly and silently with great temps and she is absolutely in awe of it every time it boots up! :)
