NZXT H500i - replaced built-in controller with Hue2 controller, replaced original fans with a 120mm and 140mm NZXT Aer RGB 2 for exhaust.
NZXT Kraken X62 - managed to fit the included static pressure fans on the front and 2 140mm Aer RGB 2's on the inside for push/pull config.
Shakmods white sleeved cables.
Cablemod Vertical GPU Mount for the 1080ti was a tight fit next to the Kraken radiator fans but had the benefit of that additional fan blowing directly onto the GPU radiator and granting me more room for heat dissipation for the GPU fans, as the stock vertical mount on H500i is too close to the glass for my card.
Tested horizontal mounting and found my temps almost just as bad as using the included vertical slot putting it next to the glass, which made sense since its blowing heat down which would hit the case and flow back up through the radiator so I highly recommend the cablemod mount for blower cards but be aware it adds in length to the GPU.
Comfortably overclocked the 9900 to 5Ghz, average idle temps are 34c and around 65-70c at load. Still playing with the GPU fan curves/overclocks but i'm not too fussed as it stock boosts to 1974Mhz and stays at 64c on the Precision X1 Stealth curve which is great for 2K at 144/165hz (ROG curved TN panel) or 4K at 60/70hz (overclocked Samsung 4K panel)
My first custom build in a few years and I'm extremely happy with the results :)
