This build represents a major turning point in my life, after losing my job at the start of the pandemic and falling deeper in to depression I needed something to get myself out of that bad state. So I returned to building systems as I had done a few times before, but with trying somewhat to keep the costs lower than what I had spent before. After selling off most of the parts that I no longer needed, keeping only my graphics card, power supply and storage while doing small freelance jobs here and there, I was able to over the span of about a year accumulate the list of parts in this build. When I started, I had no expectations of ever being able to make something of this caliber and I'm so happy I proved myself wrong. With the most recent addition of a Radeon 6800 XT, this is easily the fastest system I have ever used and the one that means the most to me, as it has been my life for the last year and few months.
The style I aimed for was one that would both be discrete and not be a distraction with blinking lights or loud noises, but still being something to show off on the rare occasion I ever had friends over. Metal tubes, all forms of RGB either removed or turned off alongside the sanded down M.2 heatsinks and GPU backplate to reveal the nice aluminium that hides underneath gives this build very clean aesthetic if you ask me.
