That clearance. 15mm spacers in place to allow some room for PCIE power cables.
And Corsair said this case was limited to 300mm graphics cards...

The O11 before the O11 came along.
Mighty and well packed, and despite the abhorrent failings on behalf of Corsair, I still use their 280X case. I love the dual chamber design, and fell for the styling as soon as I saw one. Its a significant improvement over the NZXT S340 it replaced, but make no mistake this is by no means a good case. I don't see myself changing it any time soon, but I'd never ever recommend the 280X to anyone, even if the O11 Dynamic didn't exist; there are just too many issues with the finished product.
This MSI RTX 3070 Gaming Z was very much an impulse purchase; I was browsing a retailers website at the right time when they refreshed their stock and bought it without thinking about the cooler dimensions. As a result, I had to bend part of the frame of this case slightly and then bend it back in place, and mount the glass side panel on 15mm spacers to provide enough room for the PCIE power cables. It was a really fun afternoon figuring all this out...
Amended parts list, removed duplicate GPU entry generated by having to add new hardware to BGG.
