This was a test fitting. I reduced the gap between the acrylic plates by 5mm to 15mm, better fitting the fan flush with the surface
Mystic Dan
This build used a modded Dan 7.25 litre case to allow the use of a Big Shuriken 2 rev. b cooler with a 12x25mm Noctua fan.
The total cooler height is 73mm, whereas the normal Dan has a max cooler height of 48mm.
I can therefore run the 9700k with an all core overclock of 5GHZ, whilst maintaining temps in the mid 80s during a 30 min realbench run.
Funnily enough, the next job is to replace the stock cables with some cable mod cables.
