water block screws. I put them together like this so the parts don't get lost.
and of couse I forgot to take the plastic o-ring out and put it between the mobo and the post.
That's the correct way.
All four are on and ready for the block.
But before the block...all the connection have to be made.
Thermal Grizzly...hm why not.
Block is on! Kind of wish the intake is on the bottom.
Hm...what do you think this is?
Check for post...success!
Ready to close it up.
Complete and sitting at a new home.
So before I installed the Intel. I burned a z690i mobo. So the Ryzen 7 1700 was in the Shift XT case for a few days. However...
The AMD will now be sitting across. Eventually upgrade with a new SFX PSU and chip. It will be a rendering machine.
Ugly but I love it. Looks like a mechanical room.
Cooler Master 140mm and an Corsair ATX Gold 750.
Wiring mess or art?
The Clean Cut
A while back I've decided to build an Intel based unit in the future after I build the AMD.
I really wanted do a none-rgb setup or atleast a minimal rgb setup.
Saw the Phantek Evolve Shift XT on 2 YT channels (Jaztwocent & Linus Tech Tips).
I knew it was the case I've been looking for. Very architectural.
While the parts are at a reasonable price. I started to gathering the goodies.
Like every build there are always drama. Burned a Z690i mobo while making this.
The mobo is salvageable but I'll do that later.
