Kinda weird that the right panel is just, a mesh thing. Does allow for a lot of airflow from the right fans and the psu.
Main Gaming Rig / Turbo Bella
I think I'm finally at the point where I have to admit that I will never have a 'final' version of my PC. Even with it tricked out to the high heavens, I will also keeping changing stuff about it and keep upgrading it. So, uh, Turbo Bessie V4.0? I named it Bella because my GF thinks that Bella is a really good cow name.
Changed out the motherboard, cooler and case on this one.
Motherboard because my previous motherboard (ASUS ROG B650E-E Gaming) could not use the 4 NVME SSDs I have at full speed, so I needed to jump the more expensive X670E platform. My new motherboard is cheaper than the last, has more features and has the same amount of power it can give to the CPU. Its just a bit less pretty and has no RGB, which is fine in my book. The MSI one even fits with my build aesthetic.
The cooler was mostly for looks, as this one is 360mm instead of 280mm, and is white which fits my build better. The cooling is actually noticeably better, before my CPU would hit 90 degrees under a full load, now it can actually render stuff while staying under 90 degrees, which is pretty cool.
Now the main reason why I changed my build this time was because my PC was at a repair shop for weird issues I had been having. Weird stuttering and GPU artefacting have been plaguing my PC, but both the previous MOBO, the CPU and GPU have been cleared and nothing is wrong with them. I changed a bunch of cables and stuff, so hopefully its fixed now. But still, the issues are really weird and rare. Anyways, while the internals were out of the PC, I decided to change out the case, since the old case (Corsair Crystal 680X) can't fit the modern giant GPU's, so a bit of future proofing and also the improved cooling potential was also nice.
The fan at the back is one I stole from a Cooler Master Hyper 212. It kinda sucks but it does help with VRM cooling.
As long as the weird issues don't return this will be my PC for a long time, maybe a GPU upgrade in a couple of years or some extra fans at the side. It looks amazing, runs really cool and is insanely fast.
