Added fans and... Lian Li RBG 24 pin power extension cable!!! \o/
Sizing up the new Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme. Also the 8 pin RGB strimers did not fit. They stuck out of the top of the card and hit the glass of the case. Tried an EVGA Powerlink. That was worse. Just too thick. Ordered a cooler master Vertical GPU mount.
Squeezed in the Eisbaer Extreme after a adding few extra screw holes up top. Tried both directions. Other way hose is too long and kinks badly. Have reorientated the block since. It would be pefect if I was skilled enough to get some hose and fittings and run short bits from the rad/pump/res combo direct to the block and loose the long direct disconnect bits. Maybe in the future.
After math of “wire management”. If you can’t see the wires, they aren’t there. :)
Tower in its new home.
Testing out green.
What build is complete with out a custom rendered wallpaper from a buddy! ❤️
Monitor xlr cables run through the wall. Ran romex into the shelf for power to the monitors and future stuff fed by a reverse wall plug.
Setup as of now. Need to refinish or cover ugly monitors.
New setup. Replaced 8700k with 3900x on an Asus x570 TUF
Split v2
Rebuild. Was as 8700k with an Asus Z370-E. Some of the build pics are with this set.
Now a 3900x on an ASUS X570 TUF.
Removed some of the RGB like the Lian Li Stimmers. Set it for blue to match the EisBaer extreme.
I had a Cooler Master vertical GPU Mount in V1 but it was so close to the board it created an issue with my new memory height. So the Phanteks vertical mount worked with out putting the GPU right on the glass.
The AlphaCool EisBaer Extreme is ... well.. as jayztwocents puts it. “My AIO will beat up your AIO.” Problem is it’s massive and in this case (no pun intended) the EisBaer Extreme does not fit with out drilling some holes.
I use a headset for voice con but rely on 2x Alesis M1 Active studio monitors and a M&K V-1250 subwoofer for game play and listening to music. These run off a PreSonus usb 2x2 which also has mic in (with optional phantom power for condenser mics).
Why “Split”? Because I am indecisive and change things so much that my PC develops a different personality every time I make a change.
All fans going. Wire management is.. um there.. ish.

Almost done.
Delidded CPU!
I got a DerBauer Delid Die Mate 2 and some Thermal Grizzly liquid metal and successfully delidded my 8700K and man did it make a world of difference! OC is way up and temps are down!
Upgraded to 3900x
Changed from 8700k to a 3900x. New mother board. Way less RGB. Currently working is subtle argb custom lighting and shortening the EisBaer extreme tubing.
New CPU
Removed 8700k, board and memory.
Added 3900x, Asus 590x TUF, 32g of vengeance RGB 3600, 5 more tb off HDF space and a 1tb nvme.
Really need to shorten those aio tubes
Added vertical GPU mount! Put all the glass on.
Tower in its new home.
New shelf. New fan configuration.
