A budget rig I built 2 years ago (early '17) mainly for web browsing watching youtube etc, with some mid level gaming.
Important note, this rig originally had an Arctic Cooling AIO installed with a 240 rad and 4 fans in a push pull mounted to the top of the case, slightly excessive for my needs, but I made a style decision and went with it. ANYWAY... it pooped out on me a couple of months ago and as I haven't gotten round to fixing or replacing it yet I make do with a very cheap CPU cooler and slightly lower clock speeds for now.
I ran HDMI both to my Frankensteined coffee table and a TV which I use for streaming video. I ended up having to use a DP-HDMI adaptor as my monitor has no display port input *shrugs*
USB 3.1 was also hooked up to the table for microphone, wireless phone charger and my (musical) keyboard.
Pretend you didn't see the messy fan cables near the bottom, they are only there temporarily while I was playing around with config and will soon be back in the Phanteks fan-hub behind the mobo.
I sometimes crave better gaming capability so may upgrade soon when budget allows, or maybe even build a separate dedicated gaming rig, only time (and budget) will tell.
