My rig going in for one of its first games of league, lighting synced with looks that could kill
Pics of my rig posting for the first time, such a joy filled moment of my life
A more bare bones look of my build, open panel and no lighting
GPU primed and ready
G.Skill PSU is actually a lot better than I thought it would be
Gunmetal Beast
My first ever pc build and I went all the way for it. I use it primarily for gaming but, it doubles a workstation and also used for music creation. It handles my games very well, I play everything from League of Legends to Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This beast crushes everything I throw at it in 1080p.
CPU: Ryzen 1700x - bought on sale for $120 new OC'd to 3.9 GHz
MOBO: ASUS x470 Prime - I got an x470 chipset instead of a b350 because of the extra OC headroom, also the b350 mobo I had before my x470 was EXTREMELY faulty, so I took it as a sign from God to just go all the way and get the best chipset
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 3200 RBG - I personally enjoy the its and bits of RGB in my build and the ram provides the little bit of flare I was looking for.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Pro - I wanted to go liquid cooling for my build and I like the way this one looked. It was also priced nicely for its capabilities so it was a perfect buy.
GPU: Powercolor RX 580 Red Dragon - Really good 1080p GPU and It was on sale for $160 so insta-buy imo, plus it fit my theme. This is CO'd to 1450 mhz core clock and 2200 mhz memory
PSU: G.Skill Ripjaws 750w 80+ Gold Certified - ample amount of wattage for a great price with the gold certification, allows me to keep this over time and have some sort of future proof for when I get stronger parts and it allows my OCs to be sustained and not worry about running out of power
Case: Cooler Master Mastercase H500P Mesh - I went with this because I love the aesthetic it gives and the tempered glass premium. Also my temps are really good with the mesh and 2x 200 mm fans in front.
