In the current Corona time, I thought I would do the upgrade on the computer. A new CPU was quickly found with the Intel I7 8700k, which replaces the 4790k.
There is still some headroom left, but it is enough for gaming and I got it with the ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING, so it's a good intermediate step towards some new architecture in the future.

Then there was need for moor RGB lighting. The Corsair Dominator, which has been lying around for a long time, provided that.

The last upgraed was due for month/years ;) My monitor i had not been upgrade for a long time, but I didn't find what I wanted and I didn't want a double monitor setup. So after some consideration my new monitor is the LG 34GK950F-B.

With the purchase of the monitor, the next update is already needed/planned. You've guess right it's the GPU. It (980TI) can display most games on 1440p with few restrictions, but with display port 1.2 I can't use FreeSync/GSync.
