This build celebrates the red, white and blue... And I'm not even American.
Six barracudas- count 'em. It's really messy on the back. But thankfully, no one's going to be looking on this side.
An AMD Wraith PRISM cools the Ryzen 7 2700X CPU. The RGB on the PRISM is controlled by the motherboards sole RGB header. The GPU is an Asus Strix Vega64. Four sticks of Crucial Ballistic Sport LT 2666 8GB (salvaged from the failed Red Dead Ravager project) gives this machine a whopping 32GB of RAM. The DWA-582 was a pointless add, I was hoping to use the build to also work as a Airplay or Chrome cast receiver so I can stream games from my iPad or cellphone (it doesn't support doing that). The Blackmagic Intensity Pro combined with a Lightning HDMI adapter makes up for what the WiFi adapter can't do. And lastly, the X-Fi as a signature of all my builds.
The two NF-F12s were salvaged from the failed "Red Dead Ravager" project. One is hooked up to the motherboard directly. The other to the GPU. The sole MasterFan Air Flow 140 RGB on the base is solely controlled by the GPU.
The visible NVMe drive is an 128GB Adata XPG SX6000, which is a 1.2 2x spec piece. It is working as a cache for the six Barracudas via Primocache. Hidden away behind the Vega 64 is a Western Digital Black 256GB NVMe 1.3 4x spec piece, which is where the Windows 10 installation resides.
They don't call the case the View for nothing. A mostly transparent piece makes up for the side and top panels.
The PSU of choice for this build is the 850w Corsair HX 2017 Grey Label.
Doesn’t look like much, but yeah, dual Vega 64. One Asus, one Gigabyte. Hope this works.
And oh, yeah. Stock cooler replaced with MasterAir MA620P. The original Wraith cooler somehow became grimy and sticky and I decided I want a new cooler.
Fans have been reconfigured to include one slim fan plucked from Red Dead Revenger.
Now all front fans are RGB.

The reason this build was done was because my previous flagship desktop, the "Red Dead Revenger", was becoming ideosyncritic and was no longer capable of running many newer games correctly, and when it failed to run Quake Champions, I decided that a new PC was required.
The reason this machine was called "The Secret Build" was because the build was undocumented and done only in the knowledge of some of my closest friends. Only when I finally started showing it in my streams that it was christened The Guts and Glory Project after its front panel color, which lights up in red, white and blue thanks to the specifically chosen fans.
On December 19, 2019, I embarked on a major rebuild of the machine. It didn't go smoothly. At all. Managed to eventually sort it out on Christmas day 2019, but yeah, there goes my day plans.
