Installing the EKW Waterblock
Testing how the DRGB lighting looks on the EKW block. I will have a hard time buying another EK block based on my experience with this one... See build log for more info.

Installing the Phanteks waterblock on the STRIX 1080Ti. The block its self is ok, but given my experience with their support it may be the last Phanteks product I buy.

Installing the Phanteks waterblock on the STRIX 1080Ti. I ended up removing the factory installed Phanteks RGB lights and added another Aquacomputer DRGB 30 LED, 15cm strip underneath the acrylic part which you can see in the final build.

So this one is in part dedicated to my old German Sheppard I had for almost 17 years as his name was Max. This one will probably evolve the most out of all my builds, thus the "V1.0" haha as it is my own daily driver and Ill have to change it up now and then as that's just the way I am.
This is also an Intel build which I haven't done one of those in it seems like forever with all the AMD rigs I have been building over the last couple years. Anyway on to the show and Ill try to write more specifics if anyone requests in the future.
Strange thing, the lights in the EK Velocity CPU block were on for maybe an hour for the very first shoot total. Then off till I got the rig up and running a couple months later and about 2 hours or so after that, all but one of the LED's in the waterblock crapped out, went completely black and never came back on. I had a heck of a time trying to get a replacement from EK and by the time I received it I got sick of fighting with them and waiting for a new LED strip, I ended up using removing the original DRGB strip and adding in my own AquaComputer DRGB strip of the 5mm - 30 LED's on a 15cm strip and its been running great and looking awesome Photos of that will be coming in the next shoot but for the most part the AC lights look brighter and richer in colour than the EK ones and I can easily edit the colour of each LED with ease which is a big bonus in my book.
